We’ll miss the Chemainus Health Food Store. What a treasure trove for the people of Chemainus and area! Supplements, vitamins, fresh local produce, items such as clothing too! The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. We’re moving away from here but will miss them.

Gorgeous bamboo and hemp clothing, vitamins and supplements, make-up, local tea, diffusers, essential oils, bulk shampoo and soap, ethically sourced and fair trade gifts, fresh fruits and vegetables, ice cream and the list goes on! A one-stop shop for all your everyday needs with friendly, knowledgable staff.

My family has been going here for years. Staff and owner are knowledgeable and up to date on products i.e. vitamins, essential oils, natural house products - can help with getting a way from the dirty 12 ingredients conventional manufacturers use.

From skincare to supplements, and healthy food products as well, this is the place to go in Chemainus. I have been coming here for all of my needs since we moved into this area many years ago. The two owners, who are the primary staff, are a wealth of knowledge really comforting well-informed helpful people. They have an excellent inventory in these times when naturopathic products can be tough to find, especially the good ones. And it's a very eclectic place. It not only has homeopathic and naturopathic remedies. It also has natural fiber clothes and a mid-size organic food and groceries section. That is mind-blowing in such a small hamlet! It really hits all the primary spots with quality service, good prices, and a good solid inventory. And parking. And knowledgable staff. Amazed me in such a tiny place. I stocked up and will go back.

Second review for this wonderful store. Went in for some Castor Oil, for topical use. Had not used it before and really appreciated their knowledge in recommending what turned out to be the perfect choice. The only downside, I was unable to resist the baked goodies, treated myself to these wonderful Jam Shortbread cookies, absolutely delicious, really! I also got some chocolate covered ginger and cranberry and ginger cookies, not tried them yet but expecting great things. That's my "goody budget" spent for this month, worth every penny.
